As I recall, Bob Eucker (sp?) said upon Yount’s retirement, “See you in Cooperstown kid.”

He broke Lou Brock’s stolen base record in Milwaukee against the Brewers at the old Milwaukee County Stadium. I was at the game and was able to give at least a polite applause for his efforts.

Robin was fairly quiet and low-key. I don’t know if there are any famous quotes of his. (Except when he was thinking about quiting baseball to play golf).
