When Mr. Darling requests, “There is a Time,” Charlene responds, “That one makes you cry Pa.” He counters, “I’ll Fight It”. By the time the song is over, everyone feels a bit melancholy.
I grew up with Opie and Andy Griffith. His loss makes us all cry.

There’s too many. The Big House, A visit from the Governor, Dogs, Dogs, Dogs. “Boy giraffes are selfish”. “Poor Horatio. Not Horatio, a ratio.” Where to end? Where to begin? “Otis, you got a pickled liver. Better than having a pickled puss.”
I still record them daily on my DVR and watch 1 or 2 almost daily. A time when life was so simply. I’m hoping when Christ returns we will return to the pace of life in Mayberry.
